|In 1952, at the age of 16, a young Julie Andrews voiced the role of the princess for the British release of a 1949 Italian animated film, "La Rosa di Bagdad" or, as it was titled in English, "The Rose of Baghdad". Years later, in 1967, in a rather naked attempt to cash in on Andrews's by-then global superstardom, the film was re-released in the US under the title of "The Singing Princess".|
