Life as We Know It
By Martijn on 2010-08-28 20:05:17
Here's a low resolution one sheet for Life as we Know it, starring Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl. The director is Greg Berlanti, who is known for TV shows Everwood and Eli Stone. The movie will open on Friday October 8th.
Fair Game
By Martijn on 2010-08-27 01:59:56
This appears to be the first official poster for Fair Game, starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn together for the third time (after 21 Grams and The Assassionation of Richard Nixon). Doug Liman, the guy from the first Bourne movie, Mr and Mrs Smith, and Jumper, is directing. This movie about a CIA affair will have a limited release on November the 5th.
Stone
By Martijn on 2010-08-25 15:18:48
Here's the new poster for Stone, starring Robert de Niro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich. The movie about "a convicted arsonist looking to manipulate a parole officer into a plan to secure his parole by placing his beautiful wife in the lawman's path" will be released in October.
Unstoppable
By Martijn on 2010-08-24 18:44:45
Here's the first one sheet for Unstopabble, starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pine and directed by Tony Scott. You couldn't possibly guess by looking at the poster, but it's a movie about an unstopabble train. A US release is set for November 12th.
It's Kind of a Funny Story
By Martijn on 2010-08-19 17:53:42
Here's the new poster for It's Kind of a Funny Story, the new movie of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, who made the beautiful movies Half Nelson (2006) and Sugar (2008) before. Unfortunately this poster (including the tagline) is rather boring, let's hope the movie itself will be better.
Cosmopolis
By Ashirg on 2010-08-18 14:34:23
Here's a promotional teaser poster for David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis starring Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard. The artwork was revealed at Cannes Film Festival this year even before it started shooting. The movie won't be released until 2011. This is the first Cronenberg film to be written by him since eXistenZ (1999)...
Black Swan
By Martijn on 2010-08-18 13:56:27
After the first trailer there's now also a first poster for Black Swan, Darren Aronosfky's upcoming movie with Natalie Portman playing a ballerina and Mila Kunis her rival. I can't wait to see this, but I guess I'll have to wait till December.
Burlesque
By Martijn on 2010-08-17 13:04:31
This is the first poster for Burlesque. The poster only focusses on leading actress Christina (maybe a little too much of her body is revealed?), while the movie also stars Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Eric Dane and Peter Gallagher. The movie about a small-town girl going to a burlesque club in LA opens November the 24th.
The Town
By Martijn on 2010-08-13 12:25:21
Here's the poster for The Town, starring Ben Affleck (also directing), Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall, Chris Cooper and Blake Lively. I actually saw the trailer yesterday and wondered why there still wasn't a poster. Anyway, the trailer seemed pretty good. The movie will be released in the US on September the 10th.
