I own the copyright of a poster and I want it removed. What to do?
You can send an email to martijn at movieposterdb dot com containing proof that you are indeed the copyright owner. If so, we will remove the poster as soon as possible.

How can I download posters in their original resolution?
You either need credits or a subscription to download posters in their original resolution. Subscriptions are only for posters of movies from 2007 and later, with credits you can download anything you want. For old movies a poster is 1 credit, for new movies (2007 and later) a poster is 2 credits.
You can earn credits by uploading new posters (so you do not have to pay to download), or you can buy credits. To buy credits or to subscribe, go to your userpanel.

I purchased credits but didn't get them. What's going on?
It might be that your payment has not been cleared yet. If you are however sure your payment is cleared and that you did not receive the correct number of credits, please send an email to credits at movieposterdb dot com containing your PayPal email-address or the PayPal transaction ID.

How do I become a MoviePosterDB.com moderator?
You cannot apply for such a status. What you can do is upload good posters. We might pick you as a new moderator after a while...

What does 'tagging' a file do?
When a lot of users tag a poster (for example with 'Eiffel tower'), then 'Eiffel tower' will appear bigger and bigger in the tagcloud AND other users can easily find all posters with the Eiffel tower on it.

What sort of resolution is required to print out a full-size poster?
We think that this is actually illegal. If you still wanna do it, it's at your own risk. We don't really know what resulution is needed for a nice print, it depends on the printer, on what quality you want, and on the quality of the downloaded image off course...

What is the IMDb movie ID?
You can find the IMDb movie by browsing to a movie-page and then copy the 7-digit number from the end of the url. If a movie is not listed on IMDb, but you have a poster for it, please report this to us here.
